Nyota is an amazing teacher! She is so patient and encouraging even when I forget something or make mistakes. She makes every class very enjoyable and engaging! I always learn so much in our classes and look forward to them every week!

Nyota is an amazing teacher. I have taken classes with her for almost a year. She always goes above and beyond students. To give an example she helped me prepare a speech in Korean for my wedding. I wanted to surprise my wife to be with a short Korean five minute speech and she helped me translate everything from English to Korean and then helped me learn the speech and also understand the meaning through exercises and other techniques. The speech was a big success and she was amazing in helping me prepare. Thank you so much, I highly recommend Nyota

Nyota is a kind and patient teacher. She is knowledgeable about the nuances between Korean and English and explains more theoretical concepts easily. My aim is to be conversational in Korean and every week I learn something relevant, useful and easy to use in my everyday life. Just 5 lessons with Nyota and I’m already so much more confident speaking and reading Korean.

I have studied for a while with Nyota. More than any other teacher, she gives what I want. I get help in learning to speak Korean. I also get help in understanding the linguistic side of the language, which very much interests me, though not necessary for speaking.

Nyota is the best! This lesson we worked through more TOPIK problems and I had asked for some practice questions for the writing section. Nyota went above and beyond and sent over a pdf with ten practice exams in them for me to work through on my own. Just from one month of studying for TOPIK II with Nyota my vocabulary and reading speed have improved considerably! 감사합니다!! 정말 감사합니다!

Nyota 선생님 is a very well-prepared, organized and diligent teacher. I have been trying to find a suitable conversation teacher for a long time and I am glad I found her. She speaks at a pace that I can understand and also addresses my mistakes in a nurturing and comfortable way which encourages me to speak in Korean despite my mistakes. I’ve been taking several lessons with Nyota 씨 in preparation for topic. He classes definitely help me feel more confident in taking the TOPIK in the future. Her lessons have actual TOPIK sentences and vocabulary necessary for doing well on the TOPIK exam. I’m certain I will pass easily while continuing with Nyota 씨.

I always look forward to my lessons with Nyota, she is kind, patient and funny. Whether we are talking about our pets or more serious topics, she is always receptive to any choice of conversation topic. This week we worked on Topik prep, there were a lot of words and some sentences I struggled with. Nyota waited patiently as I worked through each problem and was ready for any questions I had. After the lesson she even sent me a file with all the problems and the words I struggled with were marked for me to study! I always enjoy our lessons together, truly the best Korean teacher I have ever had!

Nyota’s lessons are always informative and helpful. She can teach you quick grammar on the spot or new vocabulary. She also notes down mistakes made during lessons so we can cover them next time. The quizzes are very helpful to reinforce TOPIK style questions and vocabulary. Thanks as always.

Teacher Nyota is amazing! She creates content according to the learner’s needs and level. I have been learning with her for almost 2 years now and my vocabulary understanding has expanded greatly. She is nice and helps correct my speaking and pronunciation mistakes to improve my speaking. She is funny and makes class interesting by talking about current topics and we discuss how our week went each time we meet. She is truly an amazing teacher and is just like a friend! I just finished my 30th lesson with Nyota 씨. I first started with pronunciation rules which helped me a lot with my Korean pronunciation and reading. After I took some classes in grammar which further helped my understanding and sentence making. Now I’m taking classes to prepare for the TOPIK and it’s incredibly helpful to keep seeing TOPIK questions and answers. I also appreciate that she can send me files about grammar I might not know from the TOPIK tests. I highly recommend taking classes with NYOTA씨. Thanks as always.

Every lesson is perfect because she prepares wonderful materials adapted to my level and interests. Nyota’s lessons are always so enjoyable and informative! She teaches at the perfect pace and always makes sure I really understand the new grammar before moving on. She is not only a great teacher, but also very genuine and personable. I would recommend her to anyone trying to learn Korean!

My first pronunciation lesson with Nyota was amazing. She’s very knowledgeable about how Korean sounds are created and how the tongue is positioned. She was also very accommodating with my needs for my poor vision. She’s a very good and patient teacher. I look forward for my future lessons with her.

I have been studying Korean with Nyota since Jan 2020, and she is hands-down the best foreign language teacher I have ever had…In fact, it was with her help that I exceeded my own expectations for the TOPIK test in Nov 2020. My initial goal was to get Level 5, but I managed to achieve Level 6 instead! She also graciously acceded to my request to write a recommendation letter on my behalf, which led me to being selected as one of the Singapore recipients for the 2021 Global Korean Scholarship (GKS). I am forever grateful and indebted for her help.

First Time: Finally found my teacher! I booked Nyota at my eastern standard time of 11:15pm! I was determined to try her class and I am happy I did! Nyota is amazing in figuring out my challenge with Korean. Been self studying korean since 2019 but never felt comfortable with my pronunciation or how I executed sentences. She really took the time to provide me with the “Why” “What” and “How” when explaining to me how to use the phrase or say the word. I really appreciated her patient with me as I was super nervous. I’m excited for this journey.

I have been studying with Nyota for many years now and my Korean has improved so much during that time. She adapts to what your goal is either vocabulary, grammar or conversation ect. She is kind, friendly and makes learning another language fun and stress free. I cannot recommend her enough!
