I really enjoy my lessons with Nyota. We cover different grammar points, and I have plenty of chances to speak using what I’ve learned before and what I’m learning now. In addition to the lesson PowerPoint, she shares a document with extra notes on things that came up during our conversations. This way, I have both the PowerPoint and additional notes to help me review. Nyota is always kind and patient, and I can see that I’m improving with each class.

I always enjoy my classes with 뇨타 선생님. I am mostly interested in having conversations in Korean, so she takes notes of our whole conversation (Korean and English), with explanation of the new grammar and other rules, which I then practice by myself after the class. I always find this really impressive. The homework (only if I ask for it) is great too. The new material is extensive and well explained and the exercises challenge me but never too much that it’s too difficult. But most of all, Nyota is super kind, funny, encouraging, and I feel comfortable in her class to try things out and make (many) mistakes. I really recommend her!

This was a good lesson. With doing the reading lessons they are getting harder due to new vocabulary that hasnt been covered yet in our regular lessons. However Nyota always explains the new vocabulary after allowing me to first review the words I already know and while reading aloud to speak the new words as well. Though I am nowhere near having it sound fluent. Nyota is always patient and corrects after I say it or if I ask. I am really grateful for her patience and allowing me to go at my own pace.

After completing 18 grammar lessons with Nyota I was interested in improving my reading. Due to me always enjoying our lessons I booked her reading lesson. After taking two reading lessons, I can say I really like the layout of the lesson. Nyota is an amazing teacher. I have taken classes with her for almost a year. She always goes above and beyond students. To give an example she helped me prepare a speech in Korean for my wedding. Another lesson with a fee difficult concepts and Nyota had no problem explaining things so I can understand. Even though it felt like I was repeating questions that have been answered either earlier in the lessons or from previous lessons.

First Time: Finally found my teacher! I booked Nyota at my eastern standard time of 11:15pm! I was determined to try her class and I am happy I did! Nyota is amazing in figuring out my challenge with Korean. Been self studying korean since 2019 but never felt comfortable with my pronunciation or how I executed sentences. She really took the time to provide me with the “Why” “What” and “How” when explaining to me how to use the phrase or say the word. I really appreciated her patient with me as I was super nervous. I have taken a taken 7 lessons so far with Nyota and have enjoyed every class. She provided a guided learning experience where I get to see the lesson before the class, making the lessons less intimidating since I am going in with a general idea of what we will be learning during the lesson. Nyota explains and provides clarity on concepts in a very patient way and will go over anything when needed. Classes are a good mix of going over concepts and getting speaking practice in as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an enjoyable lesson that fits your level.

Nyota 선생님 is great- I had taken several Korean language classes before but I have not for over 5 years. Nyota has been great at working with me to help refresh my language skills as well as to teach me new Korean vocabulary and grammar points.

I’ve been taking several lessons with Nyota 씨 in preparation for topic. He classes definitely help me feel more confident in taking the TOPIK in the future. Her lessons have actual TOPIK sentences and vocabulary necessary for doing well on the TOPIK exam. I’m certain I will pass easily while continuing with Nyota 씨.

If anyone is preparing for TOPIK 2, I cannot recommend Nyota enough! I started classes a few months ago as I needed help to improve my score for the TOPIK reading exam and also to improve my speaking. Nyota is very knowledgeable and explains things in a very easy way to understand. This was really helpful for me as the more advanced questions can be quite tricky.I feel like I have come a long way in just a few months. I think she is an excellent teacher for TOPIK preparation. I even managed to get Level 5 this year! She is very friendly and the classes are really enjoyable. From the first class I really felt at ease and comfortable because I was a bit shy and I wasn’t very confident in speaking. When I am speaking she gives me enough time to think and form my sentences but also knows exactly when to jump in if I need help. No matter what your Korean level is I think Nyota is an exceptional teacher who can help you on your language journey

Wowwwww I just had another amazing class with Teacher Nyota!I’m taking her Pronunciation class and on our previous session I mentioned that something I wanted to practice was the difference between the ㅈ & ㅊ sounds, since I’ve always struggled with that because of my native accent where ch / sh sounds are very heavy. Teacher Nyota’s explanation truly blew my mind! From the way she explained the difference in sound, to how to actually position the sounds inside the mouth and the context she provided with example sentences as well as more “theory” focused explanations, I feel like I’m leaving class with so much knowledge and all questions solved.I’m so grateful for the time and dedication she invested into this explanation and I can say that now I truly understand this pronunciation difference. I’ve improved significant thanks to her expertise as a teacher while I repair my language skills.Nyota is honestly one of the best teachers I’ve had for learning any language, not just 한국어. She is well organized with plenty of her own material as well as standard curriculum. This keeps her classes fresh. The material is not so boring or straight out of the textbook. Her teaching covers well beyond what is taught in many textbooks.I believe with her skills any level student is in good hands. While group classes have their benefits, learning privately with a teacher like Nyota allows for the space to clarify common mistakes and received deeper teaching of difficult grammar points. I really enjoyed my first lesson with Nyota 선생님! I have started to learn Korean such a long time ago, but never properly learned the pronunciation rules. After a longer break due to health, I really wanted to tackle that issue. I am usually shy when it comes to speaking, especially after a long break, but she was very encouraging and patient. I felt very comfortable sharing my difficulties and discussing my mistakes. She assessed my abilities first, then adapted the lesson to my needs without hesitation. Whenever I brought up a different area I struggle with, she easily explained it to me before moving on. We even had a bit of chit-chat in between, but she never lost track. I am very much looking forward to our next lesson!

Nyota has really helped me in improving my speaking as she always corrects me on the correct vocab or grammar and sends a very comprehensive file about my mistakes after the class.

I struggled a little on my homework but Nyota was very patient with me explaining the grammar concepts. The overall lesson was a lot of fun with great conversation about food and Korean TV shows! 😊

This was my sixth full lesson and each time it is customised to fit where I am at along my learning journey. The homework allows me to consolidate what I have learnt each time and Nyota is very patient and friendly which allows me to (attempt to ) speak Korean without worrying too much. Today’s conversation was really free-flow and it has built my confidence in conversing with a native Korean. Nyota 선생님 also always gives very detailed notes after lessons which captures corrections to those phrases I used wrongly during my conversation. I already feel myself improving after 3 lessons!

The first I have ever spoken Hangul and understand it. The break down was what I needed to learn Hangul.

Nyota is the best! This lesson we worked through more TOPIK problems and I had asked for some practice questions for the writing section. Nyota went above and beyond and sent over a pdf with ten practice exams in them for me to work through on my own. I always heard that i Korean is hard.. all

Today’s lesson was particularly difficult for me, but Nyota always works so hard to adapt when I have this much difficulty. Even though it was objectively a relatively easy grammar concept to understand, Nyota still took multiple approaches to explaining it when the first attempt did not stick with me as it should have. She is always patient, understanding, and eager to be absolutely certain that her students grasp the material she is teaching.

Today’s lesson was fun and engaging as is always the case with Nyota. She is truly an expert at teaching in general as well as catering to her students’ strengths in her teaching styles. I am always so thankful to have such an amazing teacher.

I appreciate how thorough Nyota is when creating lesson materials. When introducing grammar concepts (in this case certain irregular verbs), she is sure to include numerous instances in which the irregularities would be apparent. In my own practices, I would find myself coming across words I could not recognize because they may be irregular forms. But typically after lessons with Nyota, I am more easily able to identify the meanings of those words.

After a month long hiatus, it was really nice to take a lesson with Nyota again. I was surprised by how much Korean I remember, which to me indicates Nyota’s teaching methods are clearly effective. After so much time off, I had a lot to say, and I appreciate how well she is able to have a casual conversation but still seamlessly correct my grammar or explain how a different word/sentence works better, all without disrupting the conversational flow. I am always deeply appreciative to have such an excellent teacher.

Great first lesson

My first lesson back after 6 weeks away and it was as natural as anything. Which shows the teaching from Nyota has stuck really well and is a natural when it comes to getting the best from students! 감사합니다!

I deeply appreciate how Nyota is so malleable regarding the lesson structure. When an unfamiliar concept comes up in our lessons, she is never afraid to delve into those topics as they come. I feel like I retain new information more easily when it comes up naturally, so Nyota’s adaptability is an excellent quality to suit my learning style.

Nyota always excels at covering all the details regarding new material. Even with concepts that I may have already learned on my own, she always finds a way to provide new details or exceptions to the rules with pertinent examples to improve my current understanding.

I deeply appreciate learning from an instructor with whom I feel comfortable making mistakes. I oftentimes feel pressured to perform perfectly for other more serious instructors, but Nyota creates a relaxed, yet comprehensive learning environment where mistakes are simply seen as opportunities for improvement.

Today’s lesson was unique in that we practiced a few practical grammatical concepts that I do not often get to utilize when practicing on my own or with friends. It’s during times like these that I am grateful to be working with a teacher like Nyota instead of learning completely on my own.

I deeply appreciate how well Nyota customizes the lesson materials to target weak points in my Korean learning. Today we continued reviewing many grammar principles I learned in the past. There are still so many exceptions that you quickly forget when not working with someone as knowledgeable about the specifics of grammar like Nyota. Even though grammar can be difficult or boring to some, Nyota easily makes lessons like these a really fun experience, which I find helps me remember them better than when I try to learn them on my own.

Nyota clearly took a lot of time to prepare a comprehensive review quiz since I am still working on getting back to my previous skill level. I appreciate deeply her willingness to go above expectations for her students every time. Her examples were easy to understand, and like always, her manner of teaching was thorough and enjoyable.

I had to take a break from our lessons together for personal reasons, and this was my first lesson with Nyota after a long time. She is still as wonderful and pleasant as ever. I am still working to remember some of the things I forgot over time, but Nyota was patient and accommodating. I feel truly fortunate to be able to work with such a great teacher again.

An amazing lesson today! It was a purely conversational lesson to practice speaking and sentence building and worked really well! I am very impressed with Nyota’s professionalism. This being my first trial lesson, Nyota asked me several questions in Korean to get to know how much I know. I liked that she let me finish speaking so that I could learn to express my thoughts in korean and then she would correct me thereafter so that I could learn the correct way of expressing myself. During the lesson, she also asked if I had any grammar point that I had questions about. She had materials and was able to bring me through the grammar point even though it was such an impromptu question from me. She was also clear in setting expectations about what would happen after the class and what she would go through during the next class. All in all, a really enjoyable lesson.

I highly recommend her. She is an amiable, patient and communicative teacher!!!

As always, Nyota was able to make our lesson together fun and engaging, even at times when I had difficulty. I’m always amazed at how easily she can explain even the more intricate details of the language to give me a clearer understanding of certain words and grammatical concepts.

I felt that the lesson covered lots of grammar, vocabulary, and sentence patterns. I hope the feedback on what to do next is going to go well. I think the level test was interesting, and I thought the lesson went well.

Today’s lesson was a lot of fun as usual. I really enjoy our conversations when we practice speaking/listening, especially these days since I feel that I can speak more competently, and I feel like I am talking with a friend (with the added benefit of her being really smart and easily capable of correcting my mistakes).

Lately I have been feeling more confident in my Korean, and Nyota has been doing a great job of scaling the difficulty of our lessons accordingly. I always feel challenged during our lessons, yet comfortable and free of judgement. I am truly thankful to have such a wonderful teacher.

As always it’s been a great pleasure to talk to Nyota. She is an amazing teacher!

Today was one of the first lessons during which I really felt like I had made a significant improvement since the previous week. Language learning has been a slow process for me, but it feels incredible to have a conversation (even if it isn’t too complex) in another language without having to stop often to look up certain words. I could not be more grateful to Nyota for helping me improve each week.

This week was good as a sort of review, revisiting some previous grammar concepts, only this time implementing irregular verbs. Irregular verbs are always difficult for me to pick up on in conversation, so learning more about them alongside more familiar grammar concepts was very helpful.

Nyota is such a patient, kind, and friendly teacher. After our first lesson, I asked Nyota to design the next lesson based on the economy since I have interest in the topic. Nyota went above and beyond and designed a personalized lesson plan just for our lessons together 🙂 she is an excellent tutor and you are missing out if you don’t sign up for a lesson with her!

I’m always impressed at how easily Nyota is able to answer all of my questions, no matter how complex. Sometimes there are nuances in languages that native speakers do not need to think about, and thus my Korean friends are unable to explain them easily. But Nyota is always able to give a clear, detailed answer to anything I ask.

Today’s lesson was very fun. I love being able to speak freely in Korean at the beginning of our lessons without worrying too much about making mistakes. It’s also nice to talk with someone so patient.

Today was a continuation of last week’s material, and though it was still tricky to me, I felt more comfortable after having gotten some practice. Nyota’s lessons always provide a challenge while also being manageable. I’m always impressed with how well she paces the lessons so that we cover plenty of material without feeling the need to rush.

Another great lesson!

During this week’s lesson, we revisited the different forms of 되다, which I initially learned a while ago. This verb has always caused me to struggle for some reason, but going through the information again at a slower pace and with different examples helped me feel less nervous about using this word. I think it takes an excellent teacher to approach the same content in a different way to best accommodate a student, so I am always grateful to have an excellent teacher like Nyota.

This week felt very productive. I love speaking with Nyota in Korean because I don’t feel pressured to speak perfectly, and I feel that I am able to learn from my mistakes more easily when talking with her. As always, I am looking forward to our next lesson!

I recently moved and was unable to study as much lately. Getting back to learning Korean after a short break was hard, but it was a lot of fun to start learning again. Nyota was also kind enough to keep our lesson material relatively easy while I am getting used to using Korean again.

After a busy week, it was wonderful to get to talk with Nyota and learn some new material. I feel more and more confident in my speaking every week.

I feel as though my speaking is improving a lot lately, though my listening is still not quite at the same level. I still need things repeated a few times to fully understand the meaning, but Nyota is always patient, and I can feel some slight improvements the more we work on things. Because I primarily practice using Korean with others via texting, listening practice with Nyota is crucial since I don’t often get to hear spoken Korean otherwise. Fortunately, Nyota provides many realistic examples and will even explain how spoken Korean will sometimes vary from written Korean.

I was struggling a bit today but I still learned new things. Happy I have a great teacher who is patient and supportive! I learn so much. 🙂

After a week-long hiatus, it was so much fun learning with Nyota again this week! It is an incredible feeling to be able to hold even a simple conversation fully in Korean, especially when Nyota makes the conversations both fun and educational. Today was certainly the highlight of my week.

Nyota’s learning materials are superb. We were learning a more confusing grammar concept today, but her examples and explanations made it seem easy. Lately our lessons have been some of the highlights of my recent weeks. We have been integrating speaking and listening a lot more into other parts of learning, and I am able to pick up on what is being said a bit more easily than usual. I always look forward to learning more each week with Nyota.

Even though I can often feel a bit overwhelmed by the amount of information I have yet to learn, I always feel like the material I’m learning with Nyota is relevant to my daily life and conversations. There are very few times when I am unable to find a use for whatever new information she teaches me, which always makes the learning process more rewarding.

My biggest area of difficulty these days is listening to spoken Korean, but Nyota starts every lesson with discussion practice, which really helps. Even though it continues to be the area in which I need the most improvement, I continue to feel motivated whenever I am learning with Nyota.

This was my second trial, and overall, lesson on italki. This was also my first ever lesson with Nyota. What I can assuredly say is that all the glowing reviews about her teaching are 100% accurate. I felt extremely comfortable in her class. She was easily able to gauge my skill level in Korean and pushed me in a comforting way to speak in Korean by speaking in Korean herself. Nyota is seriously the best and most fun teacher I’ve had

Nyota explained the new words and grammar very well! Her examples were very current and she makes learning Korean fun and easy to understand! 감사합니다!

Today we focused primarily on grammar, which is getting more and more complex with each lesson. Even though some concepts are nearly impossible to directly translate into English, Nyota always does an incredible job explaining the usage and context, which is something I would never be able to figure out on my own.

Regardless, it was fun getting back into the swing of things, and Nyota made the experience even more enjoyable. The vocabulary was a bit difficult today because of the topics we discussed, but the conversation was still fun! Felt a lot easier this week to comprehend longer sentences during the grammar part of the lesson!

Today’s lesson didn’t cover as much new material as usual. Instead, we were able to focus more on speaking and listening, since those are my weakest areas in Korean. I had my first lesson after a whole month and I think it went really well. We continued on with learning new grammar (았던/었던). As always, Nyota was prepared with questions and a proper lesson. Nyota was an amazing teacher! She was so patient and helpful with me, and spoke clearly and answered every doubt I had during the lesson.

This week’s lesson was a bit of a struggle for me, but at always, Nyota is extremely supportive and understanding without being too lenient. I always appreciate how willing she is to explain certain grammar concepts again if I forget how they work, even if we have studied them in the past. I am not always a quick learner, but Nyota is excellent at adapting when there are difficulties.

Nyota was very easy to talk to, and corrected my speaking in a natural way that didn’t make the conversation awkward. She had resources that she referred to when there were grammar points I wanted clarified. We have agreed on a format for future lessons and I hope to learn more.

Lately during our conversation practices, I have been able to be more descriptive with my sentences, and I’ve been able to understand Nyota more easily instead of having to translate each word one-by-one in my head. Amazing lesson as always!

Another great lesson with Nyota! We reviewed the past tense, as we didn’t haven’t enough time last time to go through it thoroughly. Time always flies by quickly with her and can’t wait for our next lesson!

I really enjoyed this lesson and I learned a lot. Nyota speaks clearly and is easy to understand. She introduced many new words and several new phrases. While Nyota teaches in full Korean, she does explain things in English when I am confused about the meaning of a sentence or word. I highly recommend Nyota, she is a great teacher!

Since I’ve been practicing more lately, applying some of the more difficult concepts has been a bit easier, which certainly helps me feel more confident. As always, I am very grateful to be working with such an amazing teacher!

Today’s lesson was thankfully a bit easier than last week’s. We mostly discussed grammar and reviewed previous material with which I was having difficulty before. I appreciate that every time Nyota teaches a new grammar rule, there are plenty of applicable example vocabulary words to accompany the new rule. I feel like it sometimes takes me a while to fully remember new material, but I always appreciate how patient Nyota is despite that being the case.

Lessons with Nyota are always fun! We always start with a little bit of conversation practice which helps me to think in Korean! Then we go over grammar points where Nyota is so patient, attentive and helpful throughout the lesson! 고맙습니다!

Lately our lessons have been very challenging, but they have been especially rewarding once I am finally able to understand the concepts. Nyota recognized that the current material has been difficult for me, so she has been making sure to include additional practice time for me to get used to using the new grammar concepts. I always look forward to improving with Nyota’s teaching!

Today’s lesson was very difficult for me relative to our other lessons, but I am very thankful that Nyota is so supportive. There were times where I had to pause for a while to fully comprehend the sentences, and she was incredibly patient and helpful. Even though I was a bit slow at learning the new concepts, I still feel like I was mostly able to grasp the material by the end of the lesson.

Today was a very productive class. We continued practicing some grammar structures that I hear often. This included compound sentences as well. Although I may know the concept, Nyota allows me to practice them at my pace and allows me to learn how to use them more naturally. 고맙습니다!

Recently I was practicing my speaking with a Korean friend, and a few grammar questions came up that my friend was unable to answer. So I asked Nyota about those questions today, and she was able to talk in depth about the answers. I really appreciate how, even though Nyota had other material prepared for today, she was able to deviate in order to talk about something else that came up when I was studying. Nyota is always extremely prepared and she is truly an excellent teacher.

We did conversation. I was able to do most of it in Korean. I tried a number of direct address statements with varying success.Good lesson.

A fun lesson with Nyota! She allows me to practice conversation, grammar and reading in all my lessons and provides me great, thorough notes afterwards. She allows me to use the new grammar points and uses repetition to ensure I learn it. 감사합니다!

We did conversation. I was able to keep the lesson 90% in Korean, which gratified me. I am now going for conversation lessons to be at least 90-95% in Korean.Good lesson.

Today was a fun lesson talking about animals. I love that Nyota always has something prepared when I don’t have anything in particular I want to study. 🙂

I wanted to do conversation, but my computer rebelled and I could not put pages up on the screen that I had prepared. I am using some new apps, and, apparently, there are a few point that I do not understand. We stopped a few minutes early.As always, the lesson with her was good.

Today’s lesson was half Korean conversation practice and half grammar learning. 재미있었요! It is exciting to see my growth each week. 뇨타 씨 thank you for being a great teacher~

Today we continued learning about counters. They are so simple, yet there are so many that it can get confusing at times. Regardless, Nyota is always extremely supportive and patient.

A fun grammar lesson with Nyota. She allows me time to construct sentences and is supportive as she takes notes to ensure you can review them for the next lesson. Nyota is always prepared and punctual and makes the lessons go by fast! 감사합니다!

One of the many things that I admire from her is that she uses a lot of repetition. That if very helpful to me and she really chunks her lessons. She takes things slow and always makes sure that I understand before she moves on.

We are trying something new in conversation: 1: reduce English to less than 5% of the lesson; 2: No grammar explanations (reserved to a different time); 3: No corrections.This has proved to be quite difficult. I like it. Good lesson.

Teacher corrected my pronunciation and sent me expressions in correct grammar via skype messages.

Today we started learning Korean counters for different nouns. There are so many, but Nyota simplified them very well in a way that was very easy to understand. It was another great lesson, and as always, I look forward to our next one! 감사합니다!

This was my first time doing an Italki lesson and the first time speaking Korean. Nyota was very patient with me and helped keep the conversation going. She would help me create Korean sentences when I didn’t know how to say what I wanted.

Lessons with Nyota are always fun! She helped answer some of my lingering questions I had in regard to particles and we continued to learn many new adjectives and how to construct them into a sentence. Time goes by quickly and the I always learn a lot. 감사합니다!

Today was an off day for me personally, as I was having a harder time remembering certain Korean words. But Nyota is absolutely the most patient, kind teacher I have ever had. Even when I was a little frustrated with myself for forgetting, she was extremely supportive. I am very lucky to be working with such a talented teacher!

Going over new grammar with Nyota has been so helpful! Even with the my small vocabulary pool, knowing more grammars helps me to be able to make more and more sentences. Today’s grammar was ~아지다/어지다 expressing change. 저는 더 공부해서 더 재미있어져요! I’m feeling more confident every week. 🙂 감사합니다 뇨타 씨!

Lessons with Nyota are always enjoyable! Today we went over many grammar points and Nyota was prepared and supportive throughout the whole lesson. She keeps meticulous notes and helps me improve and practice in all areas. 감사합니다!

Sometimes I worry that I won’t be able to progress when I can only dedicate a couple of hours to studying Korean each week. But I feel encouraged with each of our classes. Thank you for building each lesson around what I’ve started to memorize or understand and then slowly introducing new topics and new vocabulary. I can already tell that I’m able to express more in Korean than when we first started. 감사합니다!

I can watch Kdramas, listen to Kpop and understand little things here and there (I even accidentally eavesdropped on a Korean conversation in Prague because I could understand bits and pieces) because of how much I’ve learnt and am still learning with Nyota! I really enjoy my lessons with her.

I had my first lesson with Nyota. I was a bit nervous since speaking in another language is very difficult for me, especially as a perfectionist. She was very prepared and supportive however, and tested me to see what level I was at. I am planning on continuing classes with her and so far I recommend her to anyone who is a beginner as she will guide you through and find what level suits you! Very punctual as well! She helped me a lot with Korean pronunciation and I have learned some useful Korean expression too. I enjoyed my lesson and can’t wait until the next one to see how much I can learn from her.

My first time to have a long conversation in Korean. It feels really googd to apply something I’ve been learning to a real talk. Although I was so nervous before the lesson started, I felt quite comfortable a few minutes after I started the conversation with Nyota. By keeping practicing with her, I think I can bring my Korean to the next level very quickly.

A enjoyable lesson with Nyota! Today we covered present tense conjugations, past tense conjugations, and forming negative sentences. My first lesson with Nyota was very enjoyable and educational. Her teaching style is professional but personal. I felt very comfortable having conversations with her about different topics and learned some new useful expressions in Korean. It helped a lot that she was so open to any questions I had about the Korean language. In our reading session, she helped me in grasping fine nuances of the text and in understanding the proper meaning of idiomatic expressions. So, I hope to do more conversation for the near future, and pick up the reading later. For what it is worth, I hold to the principle of focusing on what keeps the interest, once you have learned the basics. I find this exercise to be useful in determining what structures to use in a given situation, as well as learning something about the difference between spoken and literary Korean. We worked on conversation, today. Specifically, I practice nominalizing sentences with (으) ㅁ+ the narrative form of the verb: 하다 and 했다. Good lesson.

I learned basic grammar today and now I know hoy to address someone, how to ask about their jobs and their names. I also had a small conversation to describe myself. This was my first conversation lesson and I’m very happy with the results. Thanks!

We read the book, today. I have started to summarize my notes from preparation and to send the teacher a copy. I am hoping that it will help my to deal with questions, remember what I studied, and begin to read faster. I do think it was a little faster today, which gratifies me, because I have been find this part somewhat harder.Good lesson.

Nyota showed me pictures of famous places in Seoul and I practiced reading their names. We also looked at useful words and reading simple sentences.

Although the lesson was for conversation, I had a lot of questions about a structure I did not quite understand. I am beginning to appreciate certain systematic differences between conversational and idiomatic Korean, and literary Korean. Although I have seen references to forms and structures that are more characteristic of written Good lesson/Korean, it is only as I have begun to run up against some of these new forms that I have begun to get a feel for those difference. Reading helps immensely.

Nyota is very prepared. My daughters enjoyed a lof the class.

In this session we finished looking at the alphabet by looking at ending consonants and then had a look at reading some street signs. Nyota explained it all very well.
