This was my second trial, and overall, lesson on italki. This was also my first ever lesson with Nyota. What I can assuredly say is that all the glowing reviews about her teaching are 100% accurate. I felt extremely comfortable in her class. She was easily able to gauge my skill level in Korean and pushed me in a comforting way to speak in Korean by speaking in Korean herself. It made me really happy that she asked me a lot of questions about myself to start, and then she followed with very detailed lesson materials for me to practice with. In a short period of time, Teacher Nyota was able to explain to me a concept I had never seen before and I got a chance to practice too! I am so very thankful for Teacher Nyota and I hope to see her again soon. Thank you, Teacher!
