As always, she continues to be a good teacher. If I were to say what I wish others would know about her, I would say that she is very good with someone who has the basics of the language, and wants to use it. She turns my attempts to say something in Korean into something a Korean would recognize as communication. And then, she is able to provide an explanation for the sentence that I understand, and can use in the future. This last is what I mostly value her for.Today was particularly difficult. It was conversation, and I wanted to finish my talk on the Old Testament. I needed a number of words that I had not used before, so there was that. Also, I am still getting used to Korean turns of expression, and typical turns of phrase. What makes sense in English does not in Korean. I walk by faith in believing that I am making progress. I also remember how it was when I was learning Russian. All in all, a good lesson.
